Although I finally did make it into a "preset", in terms of adjustment controls it looks empty and unadjusted. Now I understand what the person meant earlier by that it's only possible to recreate the filter as a XMP profile, not a preset. It's a great equivalent of the Delight filter and I'm delighted! In certain photos when I apply the LUT and compare, some colors seems to get a little more of the filter effect than other colors, and the highlights or contrast can also differ a little from filtered photo to LUT photo, but all that is very very minor. Could you write it step by step where to click? I opened the unedited photo in RawTherapee and it seems that I should then "apply the same sidecar file" which I suppose is the corresponding filtered photo? But I don't know how to do that or where to click from there. I've clicked around a bit in the program and still can't seem to find the right course of action to make my own LUT. So yes, an XMP file holding an edit like the Delight filter is what I'm after! Those are actually the created, or imported, XMP files though. By preset I mean how it's labeled in this screenshot from Camera Raw. I have the latest version of Camera Raw, 12.2. Or, if Meitu can just tell me how the filter is designed!Įven if I get to edit one photo quite similar to the filter version, it is soon proven that my formula is still indeed wrong when I apply it to the other photos and those don't look similar to their filter version. Or, maybe if the histograms can be translated to numbers for each category I could compare them more accurately. Is there any shortcut? As in, maybe I'm able to instruct Camera Raw or Photoshop to automatically analyse and notice the differences between the two photos (maybe through the histograms?) so that the program can figure out how the editing controls need to be adjusted. The histograms of the two photos are also reflecting this. I have good knowledge of the editing controls in Camera Raw, but no matter how I adjust and try to find the differences I can't achieve an exact equivalent edit. My method is that I open an unedited original photo in Camera Raw, and a version of the same photo that has the Meitu filter on it. Is there any effective and accurate way to do this?Ĭamera raw filter presets free download 2022 I want to recreate the same filter but in Camera Raw, in form of a preset. On my iPhone I usually edit in Meitu for fun (Chinese editing app that has a lot of fun filters). I've been editing in Photoshop and Camera Raw for many years and have an overall good knowledge. pp3 file and use it on future raw files.Do you mean if the presets will be there still if you update to a newer version? They will! Even if you install the lrtemplate files, they will convert to xmp if you update ? Hope that helps! Compare a JPG color with what you have from the raw and ask yourself questions like, did Olympus add more red to orange? If you achieve your goal, save those settings in a partial. Some of the color tools you can use to go from a raw file to an approximation of the JPG are the Channel Mixer and the HSV Equalizer. As already noted, camera JPG colors are put through an unpublished set of changes to get the Olympus look, the Fuji look, the Canon look, etc. The exposure slider, the Lab-L curve, and the Lab brightness slider are tools for you to try to match the contrast of the JPG. You can read the white balance in the Exif of the JPG and set RT to the same temperature and tint. Or you can try to find a recipe that you can apply to raw files. Open the JPG in RT, but save TIF files while you work in order to maintain highest possible image quality. What do you want to do to the camera JPGs, which you already like? RT can probably do some, maybe all, of those changes.
